Budgerigar Dreaming by Balarinji Julianne Turner Nungarri
After a good downpour in the central desert regions, the bush tucker becomes prolific, and taking advantage of the plentiful water and food, the budgerigars breed and swarm in the millions. Julianne has depicted the budgerigar eggs interspersed with the myriad of foods they enjoy, including a variety of bush plums, the green bush bananas, the feathery supplies, and many others. The budgies also enjoy grass and spinifex seeds. There are major Budgerigar Dreaming sites in the Kintore and Yuendumu regions of the Tanami Desert.

Bush Onion Dreaming by Maureen Hudson Nampijinpa
The bush onion is a staple food of the central desert dwellers, and is keenly sought after by the women. The flowers depicted show where the onions are located, and the circular patterns represent the countryside where this food source was created during the journals of ancestral women.

Possum is good tucker for people with toothache. The fur of the possum is used to make pillows for the children - it keeps them warm and stops them from rolling and going sleepwalking. Every night you can hear possums eating flowers and leaves.
